I am a resident of New Zealand, living in Auckland. I am employed at the biggest hospital in Auckland as an electronics technician in the Clinical Engineering department (CE). I am part of a small team that maintains the linear accelerators that are used by Oncology. As well as servicing linear accelerators, I service X-ray systems and maintain the in hourse test equipment calibration programme.

I am a keen skier, skiing mainly at Whakapapa ski field, Mt. Raupeau. This is a magic mountain one of three volcanic mountains situated in the central plateau of the North Island. Not only is it magic, its explosive! It is most likely the only mountain in the world where you can ski and watch it erupting at the same time. I am a member of a ski lodge on the mountain, Ski Racers Inc. I am a committee member of the club responsible for maintenance, Have a look at why staying in the snow is so much better than staying below it.
